America's Second Harvest Names Alice G. Archabal Vice President of Philanthropy

CHICAGO --- January 7, 2005 --- America's Second Harvest – The Nation's Food Bank Network has named Alice G. Archabal vice president of philanthropy.
Archabal joins America's Second Harvest from ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, where she was senior director of field management. Archabal held several positions with ALSAC, which she joined in 1992. She is a graduate of Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
"Alice brings a wealth of valuable experience to our organization," said Robert Forney, President and CEO of America's Second Harvest. "Her impressive track record as an innovative fundraiser makes her a perfect candidate for facing the financial challenges of feeding more than 23 million Americans a year."
Five current staff members have also been promoted. Jodi Gibson, former
manager of corporate relations, has been promoted to director of corporate and
foundation relations; John Pfeiffer, former manager of individual philanthropy,
has been promoted to director of individual philanthropy; Leah Brennan, former
foundation relations officer, has been promoted to manager of direct marketing;
Diane Pascal, former individual philanthropy officer, has been promoted to
senior philanthropy officer; and Deirdre McMahon, former corporate relations
associate, has been promoted to senior corporate and foundation relations
associate.
