Three Named to Board of America's Second Harvest

CHICAGO, IL --- October 20, 2006 --- Jason Luke Clark, David Brearton and Michael (Casey) A. Herman been elected to the board of directors of America's Second Harvest – The Nation's Food Bank Network, the nation's largest charitable hunger-relief organization.

"We are pleased to have these three individuals bring their wealth of experience and expertise to our board of directors," said Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of America's Second Harvest. “They have all demonstrated a strong commitment to helping us meet the challenge of providing food to Americans who are at risk of hunger.”

The board of directors of America's Second Harvest oversees the operations, activities and mission of the organization, which has more than 200 food banks and food rescue organizations from around the country in its membership.

Jason Luke Clark is the Executive Director of the Second Harvest Inland Northwest food bank in Spokane.  He has worked in food banking for the past 13 years. He earned a B.A. from Missouri Western State University and an Executive MBA from Benedictine College.

David Brearton is Executive Vice President, Global Business Services of Kraft Foods, Inc. He joined Kraft Foods in Canada in 1984. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Queen’s University in Canada and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Michael (Casey) A. Herman is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Energy and Utilities Practice. He holds a BS degree in economics and accounting from Tulane University and is a member of the AICPA and several state societies of CPAs.
