"Goin' Home For Hunger"

Did you know that many of the hottest stars are supporters of America’s Second Harvest?
Designed as a campaign to link stars with their hometown food bank, “Goin’ Home for Hunger” is sending leading actors, actresses, musicians and other personalities back to where they grew up.
Among the stars who participated:
actor and Bostonian Ben Affleck, Olympian and Nashville
resident Scott Hamilton, singer and Cincinnati native
Nick Lachey, Los Angeles’ own actor Scott Wolf,
actress Kate Schindle, former Miss America and
Broadway cast member of "Legally Blonde -- The Musical" and country music band
Emerson Drive.
- Affleck stopped by the Greater Boston Food Bank to learn more about hunger in eastern Massachussets and help Boston Cares volunteers with a repack event.
- Lachey volunteered at the Freestore FoodBank in Cincinnatti, serving meals at a Kids Cafe event, and then shifted hosting duties at their sold-out Taste of the NFL event.
- Schindle helped City Harvest distribute food to agencies in Manhattan.
- Wolf and Jimmy Jean-Louis (NBC's Heroes) visited the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to bring greater awareness to the issue of hunger in southern California.
- Hamilton and Emerson Drive stopped by the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to volunteer.
- Notably, Emerson Drive's current #1 single, "Moments" is dedicated to the work of the America's Second Harvest Network.
